Can I make my event private (or public)?

Yes of course. But what is the difference?

Public - your event is displayed on the Pelago.Events website and the Pelago app Explore page for anyone and everyone to see.  It also means that Pelago *may* include your event in any of Pelago's own social media or update newsletters (up to Pelago editor discretion and/or promotional agreement between Pelago and yourself as the organizer. Private - your event is NOT displayed on the pelago.events website and the Pelago app event Explore page.  It also means that Pelago will not include your event in any of Pelago's own social media or update newsletters. Keep in mind, that your event web URL can still be shared to anyone you send it to via social media, messaging, email or the Pelago Invite feature.  And anyone who has your event web URL may access your event web page and book your event.  It just means that your event is not displayed on the Pelago web or app.  It also means that Pelago will not include your event in any of Pelago's own social media or update newsletters.

 

There is an option to make your event either Public or Private when you create your event.  

 

You can also edit this setting from your event dashboard whether your event is draft or upcoming, and change the setting from Public to Private or vice versa if you need to. 

Just tap Edit as the upper right menu item on your Organizer Dashboard.

Then select the setting you require as either "Public" or "Private" and tap "Save" upper right menu item.
